In 2006, Scholars Basketball Academy began with a simple vision: give young athletes an opportunity to grow through basketball, education, and character.

Founded by a female coach on the blacktop of a local high school, our organization started with just 24 student-athletes. What began as a small group with big dreams has grown into a thriving basketball family for the past 20+ years with thousands of kids graduating from the program.  This program is definitely not for the weak.

Today, Scholars Basketball Academy offers four seasons of programming throughout the year, providing young athletes with opportunities to develop their skills, compete at a high level, pursue academic excellence, and build lasting character. We have grown into a well-rounded, competitive, and highly dedicated academic and athletic family that proudly represents the Bay Area.

Our success has opened doors to compete in tournaments across the country.  These opportunities allow our student-athletes to experience high-level competition, travel, build relationships, and represent their families, community, and Scholars Basketball Academy with pride.

Our greatest measure of success is not simply what happens on the basketball court. Our organization takes tremendous pride in our student-athletes' academic achievements. Our teams currently holds a combined 3.80 GPA, demonstrating that our commitment to developing successful young people extends far beyond basketball.
